Sewerage infrastructure work is set to launch on Tuesday, October 20, along Cane Garden Bay Road, the Government Information Service announced.

The project spans the area from Hodge's Gas Station at the base of Cane Garden Bay Hill through to De Wedding. Crews will install gravity sewer mains and submains, construct new pump and lift stations, add manholes and utility kiosks, and restore the roadway. Environmental safeguards will be implemented throughout the work.

The existing lift-station network, which has aged, will be removed and disposed of safely. To maintain service availability to residents and businesses, construction will advance in phases rather than all at once.

Motor traffic will be limited to a single lane in work zones. The Government Information Service advised drivers to stay alert and comply with directions from on-site traffic controllers.
