Theater artist Carter launches community ensemble in US Virgin Islands

Theater artist and educator Sayeeda Carter has launched a new community initiative in the US Virgin Islands called Act Out Ensemble: Theatre of the Oppressed Virgin Islands.

The program invites Virgin Islanders of all ages to participate in theater activities, conversation, and community building. Carter, who has worked as an educator in the territory, is leading the effort to bring people together through performance and dialogue.
