Schneider Regional Medical Center announced this week that its Gastro Health Clinic will resume endoscopy and colonoscopy work beginning November 2.

During the interim closure, the clinic has kept its doors open so patients can undergo initial assessments and complete preparatory evaluations ahead of their procedures. Gastro Health staff will reach out to patients whose appointments were postponed to arrange new times.

Emergency consultations and urgent cases requiring hospital-based care will continue to be handled throughout the disruption period as medically necessary. Anyone facing a medical emergency should dial 911 or report to the nearest emergency facility.

The medical center did not disclose the cause of the service interruption in its announcement.
