The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority said Friday, November 6, 2026, marks the reopening of Road Town Jetty Building after scheduled work on health, safety and preventative maintenance.
International ferry traffic that was rerouted during the closure will return to normal operations at the facility. Immigration and Customs processing services will resume alongside ferry arrivals and departures.
The temporary shutdown had forced adjustments to regular ferry schedules while maintenance was underway. The Authority acknowledged His Majesty's Customs and Immigration Departments, ferry operators, staff and other partners for managing the transition, and recognised the traveling public's patience throughout the period.
BVIPA noted that employee, passenger and stakeholder safety and wellbeing guided the decision to undertake the work, and said it looks forward to welcoming travellers back to the facility.
