Work is progressing on the Clinics' Lobby Renovation project at the Major Peebles Wing, with the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) overseeing the upgrades.
Crew members have finished removing the existing lift and are now breaking down the old shaft structure to prepare for the planned enhancements, according to the RDA. Demolition activity will occur each weekday evening from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with no work scheduled for Saturdays or Sundays.
The renovation aims to enhance both the Road Town and Outpatient Clinic lobbies by improving accessibility and creating a more functional and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors. The RDA acknowledged the disruption caused by the construction and expressed gratitude to residents for their continued patience and understanding.
