Owners of vehicles and boats parked on a property near Alphonso Gas Station in Parham Town must clear the site by Monday, October 19, according to a notice from the Ministry of Communications and Works issued Thursday.

The ministry stated that if owners do not comply with the deadline, government will remove the items itself to allow sewerage construction to proceed. The notice described this as a final warning.

The land will be used to build a pump station as part of a broader sewerage expansion. In December 2025, the government signed a contract valued at $4,152,452.50 with Biosafe Treatment and Septic Solutions to lay sewerage gravity main lines connecting Parham Town to Long Swamp. The project was scheduled to take eight months from that point.
