Rafael Armando Escaria Sabino, who was convicted of indecent assault, is to be removed from the British Virgin Islands under a deportation order signed by Acting Governor David D. Archer Jr.

The removal directive, issued as Statutory Instrument 2026 NO. 53 on September 23, 2026, appeared in the Official Gazette nine days later on September 29, 2026.

In the order, the Acting Governor, after seeking advice from the Chief Immigration Officer, determined that Sabino's continued residence in the territory would be undesirable and harmful to the public interest.
