Fisheries bodies plan two technical sessions at Caribbean agriculture summit

Three regional and national fisheries organisations are joining forces to stage technical events at the 20th Caribbean Week of Agriculture, scheduled for Trelawny, Jamaica at Ocean Coral Spring Resort.

The Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism, the Caribbean Agricultural Health and Food Safety Agency and Jamaica's National Fisheries Authority are behind the initiative, which will bring together fishers, aquaculture operators, food processors, researchers, policymakers and development partners.

The Caribbean Week of Agriculture itself centres on partnership, innovation and transformation across the agricultural sector, according to organisers.
