Staff from BVI Finance have travelled to Singapore for TOKEN2049, a major gathering of crypto and Web3 industry figures running from October 5 to 11. The centrepiece of the conference takes place October 7 to 8, when Web3 startups pitch for equity-free prizes and investor meetings on a global platform.
The agency will operate from Booth MB4-46, where visitors can explore the VI Advantage and learn about the territory's expanding digital asset sector and its place in global tokenisation markets.
BVI Finance stated that "the BVI remains at the forefront, providing trusted, flexible and innovative structures that support the growth of tokenisation, digital assets and the wider fintech economy."
The Singapore trip comes after BVI Finance sent a delegation to the 2026 Outbound Investment Summit in New York from September 24 to 26. That team included Junior Minister for Financial Services Lorna G. Smith, BVI Finance Chief Executive Officer Elise Donavan, and Christopher Simpson, Partner and Head of the Commercial Department at O'Neal Webster and a member of the BVI Finance Board of Directors.
The agency has been working to position the territory as a preferred jurisdiction for digital asset businesses worldwide.
