A burglar broke into Loose Mongoose bar in Trellis Bay, Beef Island, early Saturday morning and made off with at least three bottles of liquor after climbing over a wall to enter the premises.
The break-in occurred around 2:50 AM on October 24, 2026. Security footage captured the intruder wearing a mask, a winter hooded coat, short pants and slides, selecting bottles before exiting the same way he entered. The burglary also caused property damage.
Loose Mongoose is offering a $250 cash reward for information leading to the burglar's arrest. The bar said no cash or valuables are kept on the compound.
"Our business is not an easy target, and these break-ins cause unnecessary damage and disruption to our hardworking team," the establishment said in a statement on Facebook. The bar asked anyone with information to message them privately rather than post names or accusations publicly, so details can be passed to authorities.
