United Airlines is adding a new direct route to its network, launching weekly service from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix beginning October 31, the airline announced.

The service marks an expansion of air connectivity between the US Virgin Islands and the mainland United States, giving travellers a direct option without requiring a connection through another hub.
