Love Link Caribbean, billed as the region's first inter-regional reality dating series, will debut on YouTube this Wednesday, September 30, at 8:00 p.m. AST (7:00 p.m. Jamaica time). Ten episodes will follow ten singles from Anguilla, The Bahamas, Dominica, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Antigua and Barbuda as they navigate romance in Antigua.
New episodes will air weekly on Wednesdays. The production is a collaboration between Love Link TV and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, with approximately 99 per cent of the crew drawn from the Caribbean.
Filming took place across several Antigua and Barbuda locations: Ffryes Beach, Laviscount Island and Dow's Hill. The show weaves the destination into its narrative rather than treating it as scenery, incorporating local beaches, cuisine, residents and cultural elements throughout.
Jamila Watkins, who founded and executive produces Love Link TV, framed the series as a vehicle for regional storytelling. "This show is about more than finding love. It lets Caribbean audiences see our personalities and our cultures on screen in a way that feels unmistakably ours," Watkins said.
Shermain Jeremy, Director of Tourism for the Caribbean and Latin America at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, highlighted the destination marketing angle. He noted that the series positions Antigua and Barbuda as integral to viewers' experience rather than peripheral.
A live after-show will stream on TikTok each Friday at 8:00 p.m. AST, hosted by Alphonsina Olmos and Yorie Taylor. The series will also reach regional television networks in coming weeks, with broadcast partners to be confirmed.
