Nominations for the 2026 BVI Financial Services Awards opened on Monday, October 12, with BVI Finance calling it a chance to celebrate individuals, firms and organisations driving the territory's financial services industry.

The awards span 15 categories this year, including Law Firm of the Year, Bank of the Year, Compliance Officer of the Year, Fintech Firm of the Year and the Rising Star Award. Other categories recognise excellence in asset recovery and insolvency practice, audit and accounting, corporate services, insurance, investment funds, and corporate social responsibility.

BVI Finance said the awards highlight expertise, innovation, leadership and dedication that strengthen the Virgin Islands' standing as an international financial centre. The organisation noted that as the sector continues to evolve, the awards provide a platform to recognise those setting industry standards and advancing innovation.

Nominations close on October 23, 2026. Last year's ceremony, held in December 2025, handed out 16 awards across the financial services community.
