USVI High School Stars Rout Puerto Rico in Basketball Debut

High school all-star basketball made its return to the US Virgin Islands on Monday with a decisive performance by the territory's top players. The home squad defeated Puerto Rico 102-72 in the inaugural Vivid Streaming Classico, held at the University of the Virgin Islands.

The event marks the first staging of what organisers intend to establish as a signature regional competition, pitting the territory's most talented young basketball players against counterparts from neighbouring islands.
