A 23-year-old farmer, a 29-year-old farmer, and a 24-year-old delivery clerk have been charged following the discovery of more than 80,000 grammes of cannabis resin in Largo Height on October 15, 2026.

Jupul Stevenson and Osie George, both from Dasent Cottage, along with Zendie Bandnock of Old Montrose, were arrested on October 17. They face charges of possessing a controlled substance intending to distribute it, trafficking, and bringing a controlled drug into the country.

When the three men appeared before the Serious Offences Court four days later, they each denied the allegations. The court released them on bail of $20,000 ECC apiece, conditional on weekly check-ins at the Central Police Station every Tuesday from 6am to 6pm. They must hand over their passports and travel documents, and authorities have been notified to prevent them from leaving the country at any border crossing.

The case will return to court on November 19, 2026.
