The BVI Wellness Fest 2026 takes place tomorrow, Saturday 7 November, at Queen Elizabeth II Park from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the Ministry of Health and Social Development inviting all residents to attend.
The event will offer health screenings, aerobics classes, nutrition advice, mental wellbeing resources, a strong man competition, a dunk tank, children's activities, and a farmer's market. Residents will also be able to speak with health professionals and community organisations.
Minister for Health and Social Development Vincent Wheatley said the Fest aims to show that wellness can fit into everyday life. "Whether you come to get your health numbers checked, participate in an activity, learn something new or simply enjoy the day with your family, there is something here for you," Wheatley said.
The Ministry recommends that attendees wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. The event is part of BVI Moves: Towards a Healthier Virgin Islands, an ongoing initiative to encourage healthier lifestyles and help residents take an active role in their health.
